Delores “Dee” Lillian Wieman Delores Lillian Wieman, 86, entered Heaven’s gates on November 13, 2014. Delores was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on January 24, 1928 to the late Clarence and Hattie Gandy. Dee was married to Milo Wieman on January 13, 1949 and moved to Racine, Wisconsin, where they raised their family and made a home. A consummate mother and homemaker, Delores was an excellent seamstress and crafter, sharing her creativity with all those in her community. She particularly excelled as a wife and mother: selfless and unconditional in her love towards her family. Though quiet, she had an amazing wit that kept a constant smile on the faces of those who loved her. A member of Racine Bible Church; Delores had an unwavering hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully lived out that hope. Her 65-year marriage is an incredible testimony to how the love of God fuels our love for one another. One of her greatest legacies is certainly the faith she instilled in her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores is survived by her husband, Milo Wieman; daughter, Cindi (Jim) Zahniser; grandchildren, Lindsey (Adam) Tippery, Bryan Olsen, Kristi (Donavan) Robinson, Benjamin Zahniser; great-grandchildren, Bjorn Tippery and Augustin Tippery. Delores is also survived by her sister, Barbara Gandy. Delores will also be dearly missed by other loving relatives and friends. Delores was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Karen Bednar. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hattie Gandy; brothers, Earl Gandy and Leroy Gandy; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Lehman; and her brother-in-law, Carl “Bud” Wieman. Services for Delores will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11am at Racine Bible Church with Pastor Wayne Beilgard officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, November 18, from 5pm-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, and on Wednesday at the church from 10am until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at West Lawn Memorial Park.
